onaco is 50 kilometres from Villa Le Port d’Attache.
It is the second smallest independent state after the Vatican and although not a member of the European Union, is treated as if it is part of the Schengen area, so no border controls and euros are used.
A lovely visit is to the Rocher, the old part of Monaco. The streets are old and narrow and it still maintains its village atmosphere.

The Monaco cathedral is beautiful and the former princes as well as Princess Grace are buried there.
The world-renowned Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium houses a spectacular array of marine flora and fauna.
Other highlights are the Grand Casino and the Exotic Gardens of Monaco.
And if you are lucky enough to be on the Côte d’azur in May, the Formula 1 Grand Prix is in a class of its own.
